Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Diploma or certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited institution.
  • Valid DHA license or eligibility for DHA licensure as a Dental Assistant.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in dental assisting, preferably within the Dubai healthcare sector.
  • Strong proficiency in digital dental technology and software.
  • Deep understanding of infection control practices and DHA regulatory standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist dentists with dental procedures, ensuring the seamless operation of digital imaging systems for intraoral scans and digital radiographs, without traditional x-ray involvement.
  • Guide patients through the care process, providing aftercare instructions following dental procedures to ensure optimal recovery.
  • Enhance patient comfort throughout their visit, addressing any concerns or queries they may have.
  • Conduct administrative duties, including appointment scheduling, managing patient records digitally, and liaising with suppliers, utilizing advanced computer systems.
  • Engage in direct patient care across various dental specialties, under dentist supervision, focusing on patient safety and comfort.
  • Implement and maintain rigorous infection control measures, adhering to DHA guidelines, to ensure a safe and sterile environment for both patients and staff.
